Rain Rain Go Away
So it is still raining here. It rained all day yesterday. On Wen, and Thur, we made cookies. On Wen is was a very small batch of Peanut butter cookies, and yesterday it was melt in your mouth sugar cookies. Here are some pictures from the last few days!

Mills Apple Farm
Yesterday, we decided to take advantage of the great weather, and took a trip to Mills Apple Farm, in Marine Illinois. We had a blast. We picked about 7 lbs worth of Apples. The boys really enjoyed picking apples. I forgot my camera and missed some great picture opportunities because of it. Right before we left the boys played on the play area.
I would strongly suggest if you are interested in Apple picking you check them out.

McMamma's NOT ME MONDAY!!!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
it's not me Monday again.. and I have been thinking about it for a few days. So here is my contribution.
Yesterday was a beautiful day wasn't a nice crisp fall day. At my house we decided to go pick apples at Mills Apple Farm. But we did not go with the boys wearing miss matched clothes, instead of the cute outfits that they have in their drawers. and do you know what else.. I did not forget my camera, because I would never forget to bring my camera to something like apple picking and miss out on the very cute picture of N trying to pick an apple.. or the boys on the hay ride. Oh and lastly about this trip, the boys did not have messy hair!!
I did not go out to a wedding and have to leave durring dinner becuase I had drank to much wine. Becuase we all know, that I never drink that much at once. What responsible adult would do that.
My house once again has not become a mess over the weekend.
and Lastly. The garage sale items, from my garage sale this weekend, have all been put away. I would not just pull the tables into the garage and close the door, nope not I.

E's first day of preschool!!
E is now attending the Preschool at Central High School. For those who are not familiar, there is a High School class (it was childcare when I attended Central) that runs the Preschool. The High School Students are supervised by their teacher, Mrs D. The Preschool is from 10:10- 11:30 on Tues and Thur.
B also attended this Preschool and he really enjoyed himself. This time though it is E's turn. I was a little worried about how E would do on his first day (he is after all a mommas boy) . Generally when I leave E he almost always becomes upset and tearful, and can be hard to calm (sometimes).
The first day went really well. We went, E was very excited. When we got to school he did become very shy and was hiding behind me (I got some good pix of this) eventually we started playing together, then I stood to the side, and eventually I was able to leave with no trauma.
You would think after the first day, the second day would be easier.. nope, no such luck. E became very upset on the second day, and I ended up just leaving him..(we all know how hard that can be ) the teacher (Mrs D.) informed me when I returned that he had cried for quiet a while and eventually they had to just leave him alone, and then he started to participate.
I think on Tues I am going to try to play again, and then stand up again.. if that doesn't work I will just leave again, only this time I will have him wave at the window (for some reason he does better if he can wave goodbye. We will see what happens.
