marble painting

E and I did this activity the other day (Paint a Marbled Heat Card), and it was loads of fun (no pics of that though).  So when B had to make a valentines box for his valentimes to be put in, I thought this would be a great way to do it.

to marble paint, you put your paper in a pan or something with sides ( we used a texas sheet pan, and a avon box lid)  then you dip your marbles in the paint, put them in your container and tilt your container so they roll around.  We did the same thing the second time, only we used heart cut outs. We then glued the full sheets to the cereal box, and glued the hearts over that (we also had some hearts that had no paint on them)

alphabet pretzels

On monday, we made pretzels and made our names.. E wasn't overly happy becuase he wanted to make different letters.  But I made him do his name.. Next time we will do whatever letters he wants.  lthough they were ok, I didn't really think they tasted like Pretzels.. but thought they may make good soft breadsticks with a little garlic on them.   Either way the boys really enjoyed making them, exspecially playing iwth the dough after it had risen.

The Cutest Thing

Today was E last day of preschool for this year.  He starts again in January.  Today they had a small Christmas party.  And of course me as the ever lax parent didn't even think about bringing a gift for the teaches.  (someone remind me to grab those girls a bag of candy at the end of the year)

any way one of the kids mom in E's class made these and I thougth it was super cute and just had to pass it along.
