Free or almost free Mothers day cards

Thanks to Sweetie swags who posted about this on her blog,

the first one is a custom card from Kodak. it is a picture card. in the end it cost me .99 cents to send this card to my mother in law. it had two pix on it. one of the whole family, taken when nolan was littler, and the other with the three boys when nolan was a newborn.

super value was pretty good to me this week.



the best deal i think was kellogs cereal (select varieties) 3/5$ (1.67 or so each)

1$ coupon for kellogs out of newspapper

1$/2 Coupon for frosted flakes on Coupon.com



strawberry's are .99 centsi got two, and plan to get some more for bry's b day party.



buns hamburger and hotdog 3/4$ (1.34 each)



extra lean ground beef 1$ off ....i got two (for bry's party)

i also bought

applesauce (.55 cent coupon)
sara lee bread 1.99 (1.00 coupon) (i need more of these, i am looking on ebay)
icing (.55 cent coupon)

so for my trip i used 6 cupons totalling 5.10 pretty good for super value

i saved 32.59



i still have two kellogs coupons, so i will probally go back and get some more of those, and some more meat.

My First Blog

so for my first blog i thought i would write about what i plan to use this blog for.

this blog has a dual purpose.

1. i plan to use it to pass information to family members about the boys and us.

2. i am trying to be frugal. so i plan to use this blog as a place to keep track of what i am spending.
